About

Commerce Atelier exists because of years spent inside growing businesses.

I have spent more than fifteen years working on the execution side of ecommerce - launching products, improving customer experiences, redesigning websites, optimizing marketplaces, building lifecycle marketing programs, managing merchandising, creating content, and supporting executive leadership decisions. Not advising from a distance. Actually doing the work.

That practical experience shaped how I approach consulting today. I do not arrive with a playbook. I arrive with the judgment that comes from having lived through the same challenges founders are facing now.

Perspective

What fifteen years inside ecommerce businesses taught me.

Throughout my career I've worked through:

  • Rapid ecommerce growth
  • Changing consumer behavior
  • Marketplace evolution
  • Website redesigns
  • Merchandising challenges
  • Operational bottlenecks
  • Aggressive launch timelines
  • Shifting marketing channels
  • Constant platform updates
  • The rapid emergence of AI

These experiences taught me something that reshaped how I think about business growth. Most companies do not have marketing problems. They have positioning problems, operational inefficiencies, unclear customer journeys, disconnected systems, and unclear priorities. Marketing simply exposes those issues.

That insight became the foundation of Commerce Atelier. Too many businesses invest in another agency, another redesign, or another advertising campaign before identifying the real problem. My process begins differently. I start by understanding the business itself. Only then do we determine where investment will have the greatest impact.

Partnership

What Working Together Looks Like

Honest recommendations, even if they mean spending less.

Strategic thinking grounded in practical execution.

A collaborative partnership - not a one-size-fits-all process.

Clear priorities instead of overwhelming lists of ideas.

Recommendations designed for sustainable growth rather than quick wins.

Direct access to the person doing the work - not layers of account staff.

Approach

Strategy grounded in what businesses can actually execute.

One of the biggest differentiators of Commerce Atelier is that my recommendations come from years of implementation. I've spent my career executing ideas - not simply presenting them. I've built websites, managed product launches, optimized customer journeys, led marketplace strategy, improved merchandising, built lifecycle marketing systems, managed creative production, and measured results.

Because of that experience, my recommendations are grounded in what businesses can realistically execute - not simply what looks impressive in a presentation.

I am also actively implementing AI into creative workflows, content production, ecommerce operations, and marketing systems. I help businesses understand where AI creates efficiency, where human expertise remains essential, and how both can work together to build smarter organizations. The goal is never hype. It is practical, forward-thinking improvement.

My Lean Leadership training reinforced something I had already experienced: great businesses improve by fixing systems, not symptoms. That mindset influences every recommendation I make.

I do not believe businesses need more marketing. I believe they need better decisions. Marketing becomes more effective when those decisions are made with clarity.

My role is not to become another agency. It is to become the strategic partner founders trust when the next important business decision needs to be made.
